Since 1992 the Altagamma Foundation has united together high-end Italian companies operating in the cultural and artistic industry, which are internationally recognised for their innovation, top-quality, design, service levels and prestige.

The members of Altagamma are global ambassadors for Italian lifestyle and boast highly symbolic products and services in a variety of sectors, including: fashion, design, jewellery, food, hospitality, speed and wellness.

Altagamma’s mission is to successfully nurture the competitive advantage of Italian industry and the culture and style that support it, contributing to Italy’s economic and social growth.

Since its inception, Altagamma has endorsed the Italian Contemporary Essence: il “bello, buono e ben fatto” (the beautiful, the good and the well made), which characterise this spirit and are symbolised by Altagamma’s logo, the Ycosaedron vacuus, designed by Leonardo da Vinci for the treatise De divina proportione by Luca Pacioli, in which the artist and the mathematician attempt to define the rules for creating something ‘divine’.
